The topic of your article must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• topic relates to women or a global issue effecting women

• remains relatively neutral when choosing a controversial topic

• must be an informative article, not persuasive

• You must make a copy of the template provided on the “submit” page and use it to write your article

• The article should be between 500-600 words, or between a page to a page and a half

• The article should be entirely original, and any sources should be properly cited with no plagiarized content

To submit your newsletter and be a possible winner of the Girls 4 The Future Journalism Award, you must meet the following requirements:

• are a member of G4F

• at least 14 years of age (or enrolled in high school)

• have attended a minimum of (2) G4F meetings

• first submission deadline - April 1st

• second submission deadline- June 1st
